National PVA Primer is a water-based primer specially designed for interior and exterior wall surfaces such as concrete, plaster, brickwork, gypsum board, and masonry. It is manufactured using polyvinyl acetate (PVA) emulsion technology to provide excellent surface sealing, improved paint adhesion, and uniform absorption before the application of topcoat paints. The primer helps reduce surface porosity, improves the smoothness of the finish, and increases the durability and coverage of emulsion paints. It can be applied by brush, roller, or spray and is normally diluted with clean water depending on surface condition and application method. National PVA Primer offers low odour, fast drying performance, and good alkali resistance, making it suitable for both new construction and repainting works. Typical coverage is approximately 8–12 square meters per litre. The primer usually becomes touch dry within 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be recoated after 2–4 hours under normal conditions. It is commonly used as a preparatory coat before applying acrylic emulsion, plastic emulsion, or decorative wall paints to achieve better finish quality and longer paint life.
